The Odyssey bus picked us up at the cruise port as directed. The driver spoke good English and narrated appropriately. We first stopped at the Monkey House to see monkeys in their native habitat. Other tourists were there, we stayed an appropriate amount of time. We then stopped at a very clean modern restaurant/gift shop El Jardin. We had an adequate amount of time to use the restroom, take photos and browse or make purchases. We observed local artisans painting wooden sculptures for sale. We ten stopped at the Crocodile Bridge to see crocs in their native habitat. Other tourists were there, vendors were nearby and we spent an appropriate amount of time there. The driver then took us to a treed area to see macaws in the branches. Pretty cool! We stopped next at a fruit stand where we could use the restroom and make a purchase of fresh local grown fruit or purchase a fruit slushy which was delicious! We then went to an overlook to see the contrast of mountains and valleys. There was a little outdoor modern restaurant with restrooms and food/beverages for purchase. Driving back to the cruise port, the driver narrated the history and economics of the area and toured us through the downtown area! A great tour!
