Because I recently sprained my ankle, I hesitated to do the rafting, as it requires one to lean in, squat, and put a bit of weight on lower body. There was a moment, where I kept feeling an uncomfortable pinch on my ankle and I disclosed it to Jonathan. Jonathan pulled over our boat raft and he checked in to see how I was doing. I disclosed that there was too much pressure on my left ankle and he gave me options to either finish the course in a safe location or reset my seating position on a different area of the boat raft. At this point, the whole team was easy going and encouraging to take it easy and they were willing to wait. I mean, it was like having a band of brothers looking out for a younger sister. That itself encouraged me to keep going and opt to sit on a different side of the raft boat as instructed by Jonathan. Because I sat in a different area of the boat raft and positioned myself for weight to go onto the right leg area, I was able to finish the rafting.
I’m not one to write reviews. However, I have to write this review for anyone who hesitates in wanting to do this type of recreational activity and also to give Mauricio , Jonathan, Charlie, and Jason a massive shout out for their professional work, encouragement, and positive pura vida energy. Thank you guys!
