My girlfriend and I did this tour Saturday night the 12th. Overall it was a good experience. The food choices were very good, and tried some things a little out of norm. Where we found the tour a little lacking was the facts about downtown and the buildings. We were teased the whole evening about the Adolphus Hotel, which was made to seem like the pinnacle of the tour. And when we got there we apparently crashed a private event the hotel was having, and then the only real thing we found out about the hotel was it is old, french inspired architecture, they still use real keys for the rooms, and oh there is a picture of Queen Elizabeth from that one time she took a nap at the hotel when she visited Dallas. Also the information was quite lacking about the Pegasus building atop the Magnolia building. I learned more with a two minute search on the web.
The building has a wonderful history, along with the Pegasus. Never mentioned that the building was the first skyscraper in Dallas.
In closing overall it was a very enjoyable night out, doing something a little out of the norm. But my girlfriend and I both feel the guides could really brush up on their history.
