Ganztägige Tour durch Cayo Levantado und den Nationalpark Los Haitises

Apart from the long uncomfortable coach journey, this trip was excellent I really enjoyed the visit to the shamanic cave after a boat trip that took us through the mangroves to a beautiful lake The place where we had lunch was amazing. The food was delicious and the waterfall was beautiful to swim in and have fun in the water Our guide was great, friendly and informative If you go on this trip, be aware that the coach journey is tiring and long as the roads are bad Apart from that A truly great trip

Passeio maravilhoso o guia foi surpreendente e impacavel, Experiência muito boa, tem muito conhecimento, explicou tudo para nós e mais do que tudo nos tratou como príncipes! O parque é muito bonito e a chave é um pouco turística, mas é uma praia bonita. O Parque Los Haitises é magnífico, as grutas são interessantes e os mangais soberbos. A ilha das aves vale o desvio. A natureza na sua forma mais pura. A tarde em Cayo Levantado foi muito boa. A refeição incluía as bebidas com álcool, a praia é bonita, há muitos turistas para as poucas espreguiçadeiras, há muitos vendedores (o que é um pouco chato) (lagosta na praia, bebidas alcoólicas, vendedores de souvenirs, etc.). By the time we left our resort and got back it was over 10 hours. Long bus ride on crazy busy roads, braking, turning. That ride was over an hour. The catamaran ride was almost an hour, then walking through dark caves, another long catamaran ride to Cayo Leventado where you walk to a hut for lunch, $9 drinks and sit at a beach for 3 hours where you are inundated with people trying to sell you massages, t- shirts, shells, cigars, drinks, food. Jelly fish in the water and on the beach. Should have stayed at our own resort beach. Another long ride back on catamaran and bus. The worst thing is the guide talks the whole bus ride and tour of caves which would be informative but he first does everything in Spanish, then French, then English. The washrooms at the places we stopped were disgusting. Toilets but no water to flush them, so basically outhouses. Overall, we felt we wasted an entire day of our vacation and night as well because we were ill after it was all over, for $100 US each
