Do not work with this company. We booked only two things with them (transfer from airport, transport to airport) bc they were recommended by Royalton Punta Cana and Royalton Splash as their partner. Watching Nexus repeatedly botch the reservations before our trip, send out incorrect confirmations, not read prior correspondence, should have been my cue to cancel and try elsewhere. (interacting with this company is kind of like GroundHog Day, minus the part about being funny) But finally we had two correct confirmations and the trip from the airport worked out, so I figured we were set. Just to be sure, I confirmed AGAIN our return trip to the airport the day before. The driver did not show up. We had to catch an international flight. No one was responding so on WhatsApp for 20 minutes. The two Nexus employees in the lobby of Royalton Punta Cana alternately told us “go stand by the curb” as their solution (this was after our scheduled departure time), they insisted they had no way to contact the driver or anyone else at Nexus to give us some idea of when the car (already late) might arrive. When I stated that telling us to “stand by the curb” with no info about whether our car would show up at all was an inadequate solution, the two employees started to tell me I “should have booked with them”. I showed them my confirmation from their company, my extensive text messages with their company, and they were totally useless. Few companies can compete with Nexus for lack of accountability and inability to do basic things. Avoid like the plague.

I would NOT recommend Nexus Tours in Punta Cana, Dominic Republic. I was traveling to Punta Cana to attend a wedding, and my flight was canceled with Frontier Airlines. I was placed on another flight to Punta Cana the next day. I had already prepaid- $22 dollars- for shuttle service, with Nexus, from the airport to my resort; however, due to my flight being canceled, I didn't arrive in Punta Cana until the next day, so since I didn't arrive on the day I booked, which was totally out of my control, Nexus didn't honor my prepaid voucher, and I had to spend an additional $40 on a taxi to my resort. I wasn't reimbursed my $22 dollars, so I wouldn't advise anyone to do business with this company, or lack therof. S*** happens, such is life, but consumers shouldn't be penalized for it.

Comfortable ride and nice drivers. They didn't mind me practicing my Spanish and let us pick them music! Arrived on time, what more do you need?
