Very disappointing experience dealing with Chris. We traveled to NZ by cruise ship. We were not able to tender into port due to extremely bad weather and dangerous high seas. Internet onboad was spotty and Chris was informed as soon as possible that we could not make tour. His response was what I consider rude and unprofessional. He stated that his cancellation policy required 48 hours notice and that we were considered a "no show" rather than a cancellation. I might add that in addition to rough weather at sea, weather for the area was also reported as light rain so he was prepared to send us off in an electric boat in the rain. Be aware if you have any intention of booking with this company. The tour description also said pickup was subject to availability. What it did not state was that you would be charged $100 each way. It appears to me that Chris cares only about money and less about customer satisfaction. No way to run a business. We wish him well but be forewarned of what may be expected if you book this excursion. We have been using Viator for many years and have always had and appreciate the true professional tour providers we have encountered. This one was disappointing to say the least
