What an experience for a solo traveller. My guide Sarat was very knowledgeable and friendly and helpful. His stories brought everything we did to life. He knew how to organise the day so I was fortunate to be at the temples without the crowds. He knew all the good places for photos and also I have more photos with me in them then ever before as he was more than happy to take photos of me. He helped me with the language barrier and also arranged for me to get a Monk blessing in Angkor Wat on Christmas Day. Upon arriving at places he explained things so I understood how things would work so that I didn’t offend anyone. This was important so that I could be respectful of them and their culture at all times. Every morning when I came down from my motel I was treated with a huge smile. This was the same from my lovely driver Mr Samart. His smile was always a delight to see and very welcoming. They always opens the door for me and his driving was very safe. He always had a nice cold bottle of water ready for me after climbing the many stairs of the temple sites. We had a couple of long days and he looked after us extremely well and always done with a smile. Great driver and always felt safe, comfortable and welcomed. The tour company was excellent on organising my private tour. We just emailed back and forth until we had a fantastic 8 day private tour designed just for me organised. They we great to deal with and I highly recommend.

Der Guide und der Fahrer waren fantastisch und flexibel. Wir haben uns sehr sicher und umsorgt gefühlt. Ich habe besonders das Wissen des Guides über sein Land und seine Geschichte geschätzt. Der Fahrer war sowohl in Sachen Geschick als auch Höflichkeit unglaublich.

Das Wissen und die Erfahrungen von Sophear über Kambodscha ermöglichten uns einen tieferen Einblick in Kambodscha als Land und seine Menschen. Ich weiß, dass wir definitiv nicht die Hälfte von dem erlebt hätten, was wir erlebt haben, wenn wir diese Tour nicht gemacht hätten, z. g. Ich besuche Dörfer in der Umgebung, werde aus meiner Komfortzone gedrängt, um eine Grille zu essen usw. und das alles dank Sophear. Ich fand es sehr gut, dass wir verschiedene Möglichkeiten hatten, was wir in unserer Freizeit tun konnten, und Sophear tat alles, um sicherzustellen, dass alles, was wir tun wollten, nahtlos organisiert wurde, z. g. Organisation des Transports für uns, um ein lokales Street Food zu sehen.
