It was good to get out on the water in Key West. Jude was a great captain, including his sense of humor. Be sure to bring your own towel, hat, and sun screen - otherwise you will subject to the pre-cruise shake down, which cost me a goodly sum. Everybody on the boat was friendly and everybody had a good time. I recommend this activity.

Rap music is not liked by older people. Also, not taken to advertised locations. Younger crowd, friends of boat caption, more interested in celebrating his birthday.

During, my first trip to Key West, I had the pleasure of getting out on the open ocean on the Salty Cat catamaran! Our group of 15 departed from the Historic Seaport with Capt—Matthew at the helm and First Mate Marlie by his side. As a solo traveler, They helped me to feel comfortable and welcome, and they did a great job of bringing this jolly yet unfamiliar crew of tourists together by exposing us to the calm, serene uty of the open ocean and the wild mangrove islands off the coast of Keys West. Matt and Marlie were chill, fun, knowledgeabl,e and no doubt adventurous guides! Food was brought out and served buffet style, courtesy of Fury, and was available the whole 4.5hr journey. It was tasty with a wide variety of choice. Beer and mimosas were made available after the activities in which are high liability like snorkeling and swimming at a sandbar mid-ocean. As the sun set on our evening, laughter and smiles abound, I lamented that simply staying aboard the ship was not an option. Taking this trip allowed me to further explore the incredible beauty the Conch Republic has to offer both physically in its landscape and in its people. ????
