Fantastic! Our full-day private guided tour of the D-Day sites was outstanding! I'm a WWII history buff, so I know quite a bit about what happened, but Boy's knowledge was encyclopedic, and he's a great story-teller. He brings history alive. I learned a ton. Even my teen sons were engaged and eager to hear more about D-Day from Boy. I was a little worried before the tour that a full day with a guide would become tiring and boring. But our entire family loved our day with Boy. He knows his subject well, is kind, courteous, funny, and thoughtful. His English is also top notch. I could have spent another few days with Boy going into more detail and more sights. Sadly, we only had one day, so we had to save some sights for another trip (and we'll book Neptune for that next tour, as well.) I can' t recommend Neptune Battle Tours, and Boy, highly enough.

Our guide for the day was Boy. He is very knowledgeable about the people and places of D-Day and knows veterans that were part of the invasion. He had maps and data that helped us gain an even greater appreciation for the scale of the invasion, and the magnitude of the impact on the lives of those involved.

We booked the full-day American D-Day guided tour to fulfill the bucket list of our friend, a VietNam Army vet and paratrooper, whose 101st Division almost 80 years ago participated in the Allied invasion on D-Day, June 4, 1944. Our friend's dream was to honor the memory of those who paid the ultimate price on that pivotal day. Boy picked up the 4 of us adults in his roomy, comfortable late-model van and drove us to several sites -- where he shared not just the extensive history and facts of D-Day but also shared many, many touching and memorable personal stories of individual troopers and French villagers, which made D-Day become alive in our memories.
