Ganztägige Nandi Hills Countryside Tour mit dem Fahrrad

From start to finish this tour was everything we had hoped for. We were picked up directly at our hotel and after a nice breakfast we were ready to start riding. Our tour guide Ajith was friendly and knowledgeable. Ajith kept the pace of the ride comfortable and took time to explain in depth the culture and background of each stop. We especially enjoyed seeing the silk process from worm to silk spools. Pack lots of water as the Indian sun will wear you out quick! We would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a truly immersive experience in Indian country lifestyle!

To cap my india holiday, i had the chance to take the bike tour around Nandi Hills. I was supposed to take the city walking tour but the since i already had the tuktuk city tour prior, the tour company was nice enough to let me know and gave me options as to what i can do on my remaining day in Bangalore. The Bike tour was really nice, it was customized. There were no other joiners in the tour besides myself. Perhaps the highlight of the tour were 2 things, first was my tour guide Abhishek, who was so kind, knowledgeable around the area and was so patient with especially that i was not anymore athletic, and had to have frequent stop overs. We had a great time and he was really enthusiastic about letting you have the best tour in the city. And of course, the tour itself, after an initial climbed to the top, it was all biking downhill from there, we get to see monkeys, vast countryside, flower farms, silk farms, vineyards which the locals were kind enough to let us have a photoshoot, Pottery Making barn where you can make your own pots etc, an old train station that is still working and a Hindu Temple which was really amazing, plus the breakfast and lunch a nearby resort is really good. It was hard to go home after that, seeing the locals and having a taste of home, but there's always the next time. Would recommend and would do it again if i find myself back in the country.

After re-arranging the pickup to our hotel (thanks for the flexibility!) we had the tour with a stop for breakfast. Transfer and arrival was convenient and the guide gave a very good overview about the tour and the expectations. After brief introduction to the technical details of the bikes we could get started and made the trip and saw all locations as advertised. The guide was very good and explained details of history and locations. Especially impressing for me were the details of silk productions which I did not know so far. Visiting the temple in Nandi revealed a lot of further details of the culture. Overall due to the high temperature we were all a bit exhausted when arriving but also very happy about the journey. The Lunch included in the travel on the way back was very delicious and we talked there also a lot again about Indian culture and food. I was really happy about the day and exhausted when getting back to the hotel but also was very sad that the day was over. It was a pleasure and I would highly recommend the tour, no hard cycling required but basic skills are sufficient.
