Rundgang in Hong Kong - Lokale Erfahrung (Neu & Best)

Winnie was pleasant and accommodating. However, she lacked good communication skills. She was difficult to understand and did not explain things. I expected to hear about neighborhoods, some history, description of architecture and/or something about the culture. We got none of that We were led to a large building where she explained how important it was and a lot of other details, but I had to ask her, “But what IS this place?” I had no idea if we were visiting a church, a mall, or an office building. She never answered my question, just said, let’s go inside. It turned out to be the Central Police Station. Somewhat interesting but it did not warrant the large amount of time we spent there. We then went to the Staunton Mall so we could shop. It was a total waste of time since very few stalls were open. Everyone was back at the meeting point many minutes early. We also went to a small temple with very little to see. In all, a disappointing experience.

Eine sehr angenehme und unterhaltsame Tour. Sehr empfehlenswert. Guter Guide. Besser geht es kaum. Viel gesehen und die Chance, in echten chinesischen Restaurants zu essen, ohne die Sprachbarriere überwinden zu müssen. Leider ist auch die englische Sprache in Hongkong nicht mehr Standard.

First in Hong Kong and Asia, wanted to do this tour based on excellent reviews and to get to know Hong Kong as a first timer. My guide was Monica and was fantastic tour guide, very knowledable about the history of Hong Kong and the Mainland of China. She looked well after us and made sure we was comfortable, i needed to change money and she made a stop so i could do so, also if you have a special dietary need she will arrange it.
