Greeted by our driver at our hotel, Qúy, who was the most welcoming and happy guide to have. He was brilliant, spoke very good English and was able to provide us history and background travelling for each of the places. En route, there is an optional choice to stop off at a cafe that specialises in Salted Coffee, this is a must try. Afterwards, a short drive (about 10km) to the first tomb, which your tour is flexible to your own needs / wants. The entry fees are not included but you can buy a bundle package that covers off all of the tombs and Citadel. I recommend spending about 1 hour in each and purchasing the audio guide to give you the best experience whilst in there. I also recommend going as early as possible, in April, it gets hot around 1pm so we were able to head early around 8.30am. Between the tombs, we stopped at a local shop which we got to make our own incense and there were loads of wee bits too but also, all handcrafted. Water and umbrella (if required) is provided on board. Definitely the best way to experience the tombs of Hue. Would recommend to anyone.
