These areas at night are so magical. It wasn't crowded and you could imagine what it must have been like on evenings long ago. We even saw a geisha traveling along and she kindly let us take pictures with her.
We were fortunate to have two tour guides and they were so nice in first asking us what we were interested in seeing and then accommodating one of the members of our group that was tired from a long day of walking.
The first tour guide, I'm so sorry I do not remember her name, but it started with an M, did a great job giving us information and making sure we were in just the right spot to see cherry blossoms at night. It was so beautiful.
At the end of the evening we realized one of our backpacks had been left in a taxi. This is when Saori, the second tour guide sprang into action.
She started making calls to the taxi company and then filed a police report for us. She accompanied our group back to our hotel to make sure that the front desk understood what was going on.
The next morning when the backpack was turned into the police station she picked up our group member, took him to the police station and then delivered him with minutes to spare for our tour bus to the next city.
We are so thankful to her for going above and beyond to help us. She is our Kanazawa Angel.
