    Honestly I might not make a trip to the museum if not as a package with the tour to the island and the meeting point for ticket collection. Staff was very friendly and helpful and I met one who is from Hong Kong and speaks English and Cantonese. He highly recommended me to visit the fourth floor for the "Simulated Gunkanjima landing experience using the latest VR technology" and I did enjoy seeing the inside of the old buildings that were not accessible via physical visit. There are movies showing the history of the island that helps one prepare for the island tour, thus definitely a worthwhile visit.

    グラバー園に行った日に、軍艦島ミュージアムを見つけました。 喫茶店の横にあるミュージアムで、入口は階段を上がり、独特な雰囲気でしたが、展示物やシアターはとてもリアルで良かったです。 入場料はもう少し安い方が、皆さん入りやすいと思いました。

    there's free english audio guide provided for free, it's separated into different parts across 3 floors. With videos interviewing the old residence and a model of the island itself. It's interesting.
