The last time I was in Vegas I went to Absinthe and loved it so thought I'd check out Atomic Saloon this time around.
The venue itself is really neat and I honestly don't think there's a bad seat in the house. I mean it's a pretty small space so no matter where you sit you're going to be right in the middle of the action. I was not a fan of the seating, though. The seats were so so so close together, and the ones around the stage at least were literally tied together so you couldn't move them. Thankfully, the night I went the show wasn't close to full and they were kind enough to move me to one of the tables where I could have a little more room. If you are a large person or just don't want to sit butt to butt and shoulder to shoulder with other people in a tiny wooden chair you're going to want to book one of the tables or one of the booths. I can't remember if you can book the pews or not but if you can those probably would be fine as well.
As for the show itself, it was really entertaining. I didn't like it as much as Absinthe, but it was still a good time. Compared to Absinthe I would say this show uses a lot more vulgarity and sort of over the top naughtiness, almost trying too hard to be funny. They show less skin in Atomic Saloon as well. For the most part I would say they were successful, as the show IS funny, but there's definitely sometimes I felt like they were going way over the top with the bad words / naughtiness to the point that it wasn't as funny as it could have been. Like I curse in my normal speech, I'm not a prude, but you know, if every other word in your dialog is the F word maybe that's a little bit too much of a good thing, you know? The performers were very talented though, and I really enjoyed the little stuff like the pre-show entertainment, throwing bread at people, and the little dog getting involved.
The service was very good, no complaints there. They stayed on top of drinks but were as unobtrusive as possible so you could still enjoy the show.
