Heißluftballonflug über Marrakesch mit Berberfrühstück

The driver that picked me up(Lhoussine) was so rude to me that it spoiled the beginning of the trip completely for me. I stayed in the old city & booked this tour 2 days after the earthquake aftershock hit where I was at, so I was just trying to enjoy the rest of my trip and birthday. Lhoussine picked me up around 5:15am in an unmarked car and it was very dark outside. I simply walked up when he stopped and asked nicely what his name was and what company he was with, to ensure he was my driver before just getting into an unmarked vehicle. He was hesitant, did not tell me, and felt offended. I noticed people in the back seat and asked them where they were going. It was only after they confirmed, that I felt okay getting in the car. Being a solo female traveler in the area that I was staying, a little bit of kindness and reassurance would’ve been nice, but it doesn’t stop there. On the ride to pick others up, he kept speaking in French and making jokes to others that spoke French in the car about me(I asked them to translate for me & that’s how I knew). When we finally got to the camp where I was to be dropped off at, he simply said “YOU…HERE”, as if he was being funny and trying to just drop me off somewhere by myself(that campsite was pretty much empty, so I was confused and scared). I did not get out of the car. It was not until a lady walked up that I understood that because I booked my tour last minute, I would be at a different camp from the others in the car. He could’ve simply communicated that to me and again, made me feel comfortable. It really sucked and I’m actually crying writing this because this was my birthday trip, I came out here alone, experienced the earthquake, yet still decided to stay and support the country by keeping my tours and tipping well, and I just wanted to have a good experience. The actual hot air balloon ride was good and rest of the staff were nice, but due to my experience with the driver, I would not recommend this company. Cheers.

avrei sempre voluto provare l'ebrezza di volare e questa esperienza meravigliosa in mongolfiera me lo ha finalmente permesso! la quiete il silenzio il paesaggio laluce del sole all'alba lasimpatia e la grande proffessionalita di Sabah sono tutti elementi che contribuiscono a rendere quest'esperenzia vermente indimenticable ! la consiglio caldamente a tutti i visitatori di Marrakesh ne vale davvero la pena Emozioni preziose!
