Er war sehr informativ, geduldig und hilfsbereit. Wir beendeten unseren Tag mit einer köstlichen Küche von dem, was Tanger zu bieten hat köstlichen Minztee und wunderbare Desserts. . Er war so ein hilfsbereiter Reiseleiter. Er bot uns an, uns nach unserer Tour zurück in die Stadt zu bringen, um viele der Sehenswürdigkeiten zu erweitern, die wir mehr von uns wünschen, gingen sogar in ein lokales Restaurant und aßen ein fabelhaftes Mittagessen.

We spent the most amazing day in Tangier with Abdel El Maimouni, and I honestly can’t recommend him enough! From the moment we met him, we felt completely at ease — welcomed with a smile, and instantly excited for the day ahead. My husband, kids and I all said the same thing at the end… we couldn’t have chosen a better person to show us Tangier for the first time.
Abdel made sure we experienced everything without ever feeling rushed. We visited the famous Hercules Caves, the lighthouse with the most stunning ocean views, and took a peaceful walk through the beautiful forest. He took us through the lively Socco and the magical Medina, full of colour, culture, smells, and local life. We even enjoyed camel and quad rides by the beach, wandered through historic streets, and truly got a taste of what Tangier is all about. It was the perfect mix of fun, sightseeing, culture, and those little “wow” moments that stay with you.
But what made the day truly unforgettable was Abdel himself. His knowledge about Tangier’s history, traditions, and hidden gems was incredible — and the way he shared everything showed just how much he loves his city. He answered all our questions (and trust me, we had plenty!), and he kept the kids interested, comfortable, and happy the entire day — which says a lot! We felt safe, looked after, and in the hands of someone who genuinely cared about giving us the best experience possible.
He also recommended lovely places to shop with no pressure at all, and took us to a fantastic local restaurant where we enjoyed delicious Moroccan food — a place we would never have found on our own, and it was one of the highlights of our day.
It was one of those special days filled with laughter, new experiences, and moments we will treasure forever as a family. Tangier truly touched our hearts, and a huge part of that is thanks to Abdel.
