I have been a fan of Khaki Tours and their team lead by Bharat Gothaskar Sir since some time and have visited some of their exhibitions on Mumbai in their cultural space- the 'Khaki Lab' However I haven't been able to attend any of their walks yet since I don't live in Mumbai currently (while being from Mumbai itself) and come to the city currently only for short duration's. However I jumped at the chance to attend Khaki's 600th walk on 'Bej Mumbaiche' in Marathi and came especially to Mumbai for the walk. As expected, it was wonderfully conducted and curated by the personnel from Khaki, and every minute was gainfully spent to absorb the length and breadth of the information that was conveyed. The wealth of knowledge possessed by the Khaki Team about Mumbai is truly unmatched and their efforts to spread the same to a wide variety of audience whether to the Mumbai locals or to outside audience is highly appreciated. I would highly recommend any person who is curious about the city to attend Khaki Walks and tours as per their interest and convenience. The Khaki Team are definitely the true 'Ambassadors of Mumbai '

We went on what turned out to be a truly amazing & spectacular walk with Khakhi Tours. We were two couples on a Teen Darwaza tour with our amazing guide Vinayak. This is a walk inside the former fort area in Mumbai. It was our first experience with Khakhi Tours & it was really special. We loved the stories that Vinayak shared and the real life stories had elements of suspense, drama, comedy - the works. We learnt & experienced what life was like in the bygone era and Vinayak pointed out so many special sights along the way which added to the wow factor of the walk. The walk itself is at a comfortable & easy pace. In terms of distance covered it was not much, but we covered the streets, side streets, bylanes etc in such depth that we lost track of time and still wanted more by the time the walk ended. We absolutely loved it & had a great time. We will be coming back for more walks with Khakhi. Vinayak brought history to life for us & we cant thank him enough. It was informative, entertaining, enriching & a delightful way to spend an evening experiencing a small part of the city. Cant recommend it enough. We returned home smiling, inspired & rejuvenated.
