I actually really enjoyed myself for the activities during this trip.
We did the ATVs with Fisher & Ralph. Dope experience for sure. If I had more time in the country, I’d go back and request to ride with them again! Period. They’re both really patient and detailed oriented but fun and have joyful personalities, you can tell they enjoy the work they are doing. My mom went back the next day and told her don’t do it if she didn’t have them cause 10/10 the best instructors.
The reason I only left three stars is because outside of Fisher and Ralph, the customer experience is freakin awful. I mean, real bad. There was a disconnect between the resort and Chukka so it wasn’t communicated to us about the weight limit & also, the didn’t tell my moms group about needing drivers license - two important things left off the contract that we signed when we paid.
So, one of our riders was over the 300lbs and Delroy & the two ladies who checked us in where absolutely aggressive and agitated when we asked help for finding a solution. 1. They were screaming his weight from across the check in area which was really embarrassing cause we honestly just didn’t know the person couldn’t ride. They were already sad about missing the experience but to continually mention weight was cringe to watch and listen to. 2. After trying to go through options, Delroy told us that we were absolutely out of luck and the only option the person had was to wait for us and watch us have fun - very unfair and felt fatphobic. 3. They let my moms group ride without Driver’s License but WHAT A HEADACHE trying to get an accommodations.
Delroy and the other two women that helped us (one in red and one in Navy) treated us bad and I would hate to see how they treat others in similar situations. Fortunately, Fisher and Ralph redeemed the experience for us cause Delroy and the others almost ruined it. Stay away from them, avoid them and if you’re reading this, ask about weight restrictions, DLs, and other details.
