We really enjoyed this. It was an easy check in and the boat departed on time. It was pouring with rain (20 August 2025) but we had a great trip and managed to see whales including a breach! The crew were friendly and have good commentary about the whales. It gets choppy and people with sea sickness will struggle but the crew had sick bags which they handed out. The trip was about 2.5 hours and we had plenty of time to watch the whales and get some great videos and photos. We were really pleased with our trip and the crew were really friendly. Make sure to do wrap up and if on the top deck, maybe a towel to sit on. Despite the weather we still enjoyed it and would recommend. My photos of the whales won’t upload but we saw a pod of five - they were active and we saw their tails - they were magnificent!

It was a beautiful trip. The view of Sydney Harbour is wonderful. It took a while to find them, but we spotted several whales, including some that breached. The sea was quite rough, with high waves. Many people became seasick and vomited. The crew was attentive, but there was little they could do. If you suffer from seasickness, I recommend taking anti-seasickness medication as a precaution before boarding.

staff were not friendly or helpful, completely ignored us when they could see we were struggling with 2 kids. we called in the morning to ask if there is indoor seating as the weather forecast was not looking good, they said yes but when we were on the cruise the staff said we can’t sit inside as we are likely to vomit. they did not help at all when most of the passengers were sick, they gave us the waterproof ponchos after it started raining so we were already drenched. now we are all sick and ill and our entire holiday is ruined. (we did take sea sickness tablets) would not recommend to book with this company as it was just a waste of money and could be organised much more professionally. also we only saw 2 whales and not properly due to heavy rain, yes the weather is not predictable but they could have cancelled it or at least handled it much better and been a bit more helpful.
