My husband and I had high hopes for this class. In a nutshell, our host was not enthusiastic and seemed bored with our presence. It felt a little like an assembly line, with one group following another. The walk to the market felt meaningless as we did not buy anything for our meal. Almost every course had the same ingredients. We chopped and puréed and used a mortar and pestle, but it didn’t feel like we were learning. The description for our class didn’t say how long the class was, and we were very surprised when we were finished in less than 2 1/2 hours. FYI.. a group class may fare better than a private class.
