Piff the Magic Dragon im Flamingo Las Vegas

Unbelievable show from start to finish. None stop laughter. Being English maybe it was alot easier to appreciate his humour but the full room seemed to enjoy. Not just really funny also a very talented magician . A show I would definitely go see again. Great crowd involvement. Didn't want it to end!

I have been coming to Vegas for years as an adult and a minor with my parents, and now most recently with my own children. My parents always took me to shows growing up, my wife and I continued that tradition for the past nine years, and then chose to bring one of our children this year. Searching for family friendly shows in a short three day trip, we brought our 6 year old with us to Blue Man Group, Adele and finally Piff on our last night. Piff recognized her immediately, brought her into the show by asking her name and age, gave her a banana from one of his tricks and then finally used her the last trick of the night, one featured on AGT. He made a fan for life! After the show he signed the card from the trick, the plush Mr. Piffles and took a family photo with us! This show is a true hidden gem in Vegas. We stay at Caesars properties whenever coming to Vegas, I’m shocked that we have missed Piff until now after all these years! We will back with all three girls!!

We sat front row and were pulled into the show a little, which was great fun. A lot of American comedy isn’t too sophisticated, where as the British can be more abrasive, sarcastic and dark with their humour. In a city where everyone seems to be smiling in an effort to get an extra buck in their tip, ‘Piff the Magic (and slightly grumpy) Dragon’ is a breath of fresh air. Thankfully the American audience laughed in all the right places, the put downs and cutting comments landed well and it was all hilarious. The magic ranges from the small quick tricks to larger more overarching magic, that slowly unfolds during the show, all executed brilliantly. It was intimate, funny and surprising. We also spotted Teller sitting behind us and we’re big Pen & Teller fans. After the show there is an encouraged meet and greet where you can snap a picture (using your phone) and they were lovely to talk to. We saw six Vegas shows last week, including Cirque du Soleil and the Blue Man Group (both excellent), but on reflection, this was our favourite show of the trip.
