Halbtägiger Ausflug nach Kutna Hora ab Prag

We really wanted to see the bone church. We booked this tour at the last minute because I liked that it went in the afternoon, giving us the morning in the city. Our guide Sophia was awful. Very difficult to understand, and rambling, confusing facts. Would start on one subject, jump to something else, "but I'll tell you about that later", never returned to the original thought. Absolutely zero enthusiasm and disinterested in engaging her participants in the subject matter, but was insistent that the whole group follow her around and quietly listen to her nonsensical ramblings like we were first graders on a field trip. Literally put me to sleep on the bus with her monotone. We were the youngest couple on the bus (50's) and the others became easily tired. Sophia had no patience for the stragglers, lots of eye rolling and exasperated sighing. She was obviously appalled and fed up by the behavior of others in the various places we went. We went by a store she didn't approve of (Halloween stuff), and she tsk'd and "that's awful"'d her way past it. She shushed people in the bone church. There was a 25 minute stop in the center of town that she acted as though she was doing a favor for us to make. When we got on the bus, our driver got lost on the curvy little streets before we finally made it out. We did not tip her as we left. And we're Americans, we tip everybody!

Dies sollte eine Führung auf Englisch sein. Das Englisch unserer Reiseleiterin war nicht gut. Die meisten Leute auf der Reise konnten nicht verstehen, was sie sagte. Wir haben uns die Sehenswürdigkeiten angesehen, aber wir hatten nur wenige Informationen darüber, was wir gesehen hatten. Sie tat so, als wäre es eine Belastung, uns überhaupt herumführen zu müssen. Sehr schlechte Erfahrung.

Die Knochenkirche ist einfach umwerfend. Einer der coolsten, interessantesten und einzigartigsten Orte, die ich je besucht habe, wenn nicht sogar der coolste. Die restlichen Stationen der Tour sind ehrlich gesagt etwas langweilig und nicht die interessantesten, aber die Knochenkirche macht das mehr als wett. Alles in allem ein angenehmer Tag außerhalb der Stadt mit einem der einzigartigsten und makabersten Orte, die man besuchen kann.
