Jetskiing rund um das La-Famille-Schiff und kleinere unberührte Cays

The sun, sand, sea, shipwreck was great. However, the tour guide didn't pay attention to the group in the back and was way ahead so far, we couldn't even see him. At the end he didn't guide us to the shallow sand bar areas and one of the tourist with the jet ski was stuck in the sand with another boat head on coming at us. While trying to avoid the head on crash with the boat coming the opposite way, two of the jet ski collided. Of course nobody came to our aid since tour guide was already on shore getting ready for the next tour. When they finally came to us, instead of asking how we were doing, they only cared about money for the damage to the jet ski. Admitting there was insurance coverages for such accidents and damages, they still insisted on money payments for the damages. Everything could have been avoided if the tour guide stayed closer to us and "guided" us back in safely. By the way, I'm experienced with jet skis and have a boater's license but obviously not familiar with that area of the ocean. Very disappointed and wouldn't recommend this company to anybody else.

For us, it was a once in a lifetime experience. It was the most expensive 2 hour activity during our stay on this island, but it was absolutely worth every penny. Our guide wasn’t keen to go to the ship because of some choppy waves to get there, but we managed to convince him we can handle it and off we went. It was AMAZING. Riding on top of this crystal clear water with sea spray ensuring no part of the body remained dry. The ship is spectacular. My husband and daughter climbed on the ship, I remained on the water to prevent a potential tetanus shot. We also stopped on a sandbank to get some pictures, after we spent some time watching a dolphin and her calf playing near the shore. I would highly recommend this. It has given us memories one can not buy. PS: check your reservation and confirm with the service provider - we paid for two hours and upon confirmation, the provider had it as one hour. After several phone calls it was resolved and we were given 2 hours. If we had just showed up, we would have lost an hour of our adventure and it would have been a rather large, expensive negative experience and not the wonderful time we did have.

Water was beautiful and we stopped and viewed several great spots but the guide gave very little instruction about operating the skis, our kids were on a jet ski that couldn't handle their weight (6ft 180 lbs each) so they lagged way behind. Tour guide did not slow down at all. Would have liked more guidance and a slower pace or a ski powerful enough to keep up.
