I went on the half-day snorkeling tour with my family. There were 8 of us in total, including 2 children. None of us had much snorkeling experience. However, we all really enjoyed it.
Our guides, Mikey and Liberte were excellent. They took us to an area with seagrass where we were able to see 4 separate sea turtles grazing, as well as fish in the reef. We were the only group there when we arrived, though several other boats showed up as we were leaving.
Due to the weather, we ended up snorkeling for just part of our time, then went on a boat ride over to Iguana Island. The sea was a bit choppy so going to another site to snorkel wouldn't have worked as well. On our way there, we were able to enjoy a variety of snacks that were provided, with a fruit tray, some chips, baked goods, and different beverages. Once on the island, we were able to get off and walk around, where we saw several iguanas.
There was a good deal of flexibility in how the day went for us as it was just us on the boat. The children were younger (
