A perfect way to see historically significant sites near the cruise port in Rhodes for a short visit. Our guide, Nikol, met us promptly as we exited the ships gangway and after a brief introduction, walked us out into Rhodes explaining the historic significance of this island and its place among the many island groups of Greece. We were shown and she explained MANY interesting and important sites and facts during this walking tour. We learned so much about the history of Rhodes, not only the Jewish quarter but its significance in Europe and Asia and Greece’s overall history.
The tour was at a comfortable pace, we weren’t rushed and she personalized it for the places and things we wanted to learn about. The tour lasted almost 4 hours and it was a great way to see this fascinating city, compared to the many tourists on their own and others we saw in LARGE groups with headphones.
Also, Nikol is an excellent photographer and took many great pictures of us along the way. We would highly recommend this tour for visitors to Rhodes.
