Top-Class-Pizza und Tiramisù - Masterclass in Rom

Somehow our reservation got cancelled without notice to us. When we arrived they were not prepared to hold the class. Instead they let us join another group who were making pasta and tiramisu. The class was ok, but many in our group had already done a similar class so it was pretty anticlimatic.

Claudio was an excellent instructor! It's evident he loves what he does and it made it such an enjoyable experience for us. He was attentive and ensured he answered every question from the group. We definitely recommend if you're a pizza lover.

My family made our once in a lifetime trip to Rome and along with the usual "must do's", we thought that it would be an amazing memory to have our pre-teen girls experience a pizza and gelato making class in Rome! We planned it months in advance and the more we spoke about it, the more excited every became to collect that memory and translate what we would be learning back at home. However, upon our ARRIVAL in Rome we were informed via text that our class needed to be altered to a pasta and tiramisu making class. This was not the experience that we signed up for...and to make it worse we were informed 2 days before the class was the be held. Needless to say, we created a schedule around the events that we had planned. Not only were we robbed of the experience, but it altered our plans. The fact that this was planned months in advance and we were only given 48 hours notice is completely unprofessional. We were not left ample time to find a suitable replacement class as everything in this category in Rome was now sold out! During all of my excursions over the years, I have never had anything cancelled via text on such short notice, with no opportunity of a make good, explanation, apology, etc... This was a true disappointment. I am sure for those of you who experienced the class, the reviews were probably favorable. Unfortunately, my family was not given the opportunity to write a favorable review. I know that people will see the 1 star rating and push it aside because we didn't actually experience the class so our review does not hold any weight on the experience itself...but if it could happen to us, it could happen to you. I would think twice or be wary of anything booked through Eat and Walk Italy which is the ultimate vendor Trip Advisor used here.
