Nordlichttour im atmosphärischen Cottage

The owners of the apartment in which we were hosted (Rovaniemi) recommended this company for the Northern Lights tour that we were looking for. The company is a fairly new local family agency. You can easily notice the enthusiasm with which they do their work and feel the warm atmosphere they create during the tours. Joni kindly helped and solved all our doubts to select and book the tour. We chatted through email or WhatsApp, this really eased the communication. Valtteri was our guide for the Northern Lights tour we booked. He is a cheerful, kind, and professional guy who really loves Finland. He did pick-up us in our apartment ((8 o’clock in the evening (very punctual)) and did drive us (20-30 min) to a little and private spot in the nature, close to a frozen lake, where they had a typical wooden cabin. The cabin was previously heated by them so you can enter and warm a little bit during the tour whenever you want as the temperature out there is quite cold! It is essential to wear warm winter clothes to enjoy your experience. If you don’t have them the team would kindly provide you with them to make your experience comfortable. Valtteri made a campfire to prepare some hot blueberry juice and sausages that we drank and ate during the tour. We also made some roasted marshmallows in the campfire! We were very lucky; it was not even dark night at all and we already started seeing some Auroras! And not only the green ones but also blue, purple, and pink auroras! I have attached some pictures that I did took myself with my mobile phone camera where you can see them. We also had the opportunity to see the auroras from the frozen lake close to the cabin. During the two hours that the tour lasted we also had time to have a pleasant conversation with Valtteri by the fire. After the tour, Valtteri did kindly drive us to our appartement. It was an amazing experience which I would 100% recommend living in the company of these incredible guys and which is worth paying for. (Sensible price!). Fueron los propietarios del apartamento en el que nos alojábamos en Rivaniemi, quienes nos recomendaron esta agencia para hacer excursiones. La agencia es pequeña y familiar y el trato muy bueno. Joni, nos ayudó en todo momento explicándonos todas las opciones y resolviendo nuestras dudas. El contacto es fácil, por mail o por WhatsApp. Una de las salidas que queríamos hacer y ofrecen, es ver las auroras boreales. Valtteri fue nuestro guía. Es un chico alegre, amable, amante de su país y muy profesional. Nos recogió a las 20,00h, muy puntual en el portal del apartamento, con la furgoneta. Nos llevó hasta una casita privada cerca de un lago, a media hora de Rovaniemi. Nos enseñó la estructura tradicional de la cabaña, hizo fuego, nos preparó salchichas a la brasa y zumo caliente de frutos rojos. También tostamos nubes en el fuego. Desde la mañana están pendientes de las probabilidades de ver las auroras (depende de las condiciones meteorológicas). Tuvimos mucha suerte porque las vimos, muchas y de distintos colores (verdes, azules, moradas...). Pudimos sacar fotos y disfrutar de la experiencia junto al fuego, con una conversación muy amena con Valtteri. También nos acercamos al lago, disfrutando de otra perspectiva. Sobre las 22,30h, nos volvimos para Rovaniemi. Valtteri nos dejó de nuevo en nuestro apartamento. Hace mucho mucho frío y es imprescindible llevar ropa adecuada. Si no dispones de la misma, te la proporcionan. No hubo más clientes así que fue "una experiencia privada"para mi hermano y para mí, tranquila y muy amena. El precio es muy adecuado para todo lo que incluye la experiencia y la buena atención recibida. Ver las auroras sin una excursión organizada es prácticamente inviable. Recomendamos 100% este tour y esta agencia. Muchas gracias Joni y Valtteri por hacer posible esta experiencia tan maravillosa.

Was great !!! We saw a lot of norther lights. The guides were very nice and we had a very good time. I would book it again !!!
