We booked this trip the morning of the cruise and paid 750 NOK each which is about £60. About your took about 4 hours and consisted of four stops.
Fist stops was Visnes Mine, our guide told us all about how all the copper that built the Statue of Liberty was mined from there and all the history about the process etc. They also have there own tiny statue by the water. We spent around 15 minutes at this location.
Second stop was Åkrehamn beach, this beach must be the most beautiful beach I’ve seen personally and it really gave a Caribbean vibe to it the only difference is the water is like ice. We spent about 20 minutes here taking pictures, having a paddle and climbing the rocks. It was so lovely especially with the sun beaming down on us.
Third stop was a little village called skudesneshavn and we were here for about 30 minutes. We all went and explored the town, we found there famous rock called the moon stone that some believe came from space and we even found some quartz by some of the rocks nearby. They’ve also got a lovely viewing point that looks over the whole village. We then headed to a little cafe which really was the tiniest cafe but had a lovely outside seating area and we both enjoyed a doughnut and brownie and they were really delicious.
Our fourth stop was St. Olav's church we were here for around 15 minutes. Our tour guide told us about a myth that says the kind had asked a troll to help him build the church which resulted in the troll being turned to stone and casting a curse that said if the stone ever touches the church doomsday will come.
All in all this was an amazing tour and although it seems like a lot of time on the coach you see so many amazing things and our fantastic tour guide Alfons had so many stories abs facts to share.
