Mount Bromo & Ijen & Madakaripura Wasserfalltour (3T2N) – Hotel

Ijen, Bromo and Madakaripura are gorgeous and our guide Yayak was friendly, accomodating and gave us many good suggestions to make our tour a memorable one, from shifting the itinerary to allow us to maximise our enjoyment at each destination to good suggestions for food, and even bringing us to the best photo and viewing spots! Highly recommended! A personalised adventure which did not disappoint. Service impeccable throughout, from booking, on tour, plus follow up and photo sharing. On arrival we were met by Rama who was our tour guide for the trip. Friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Always checking in to see if we needed anything. Mount Bromo and Mount Ijen were simply stunning!

Awesome Tour Co-Ordinating Service provided by Sherry the coordinator was super helpful throughout the process in answering our enquiries through wats app very promptly. We started off going to Madakaripura Waterfall and spent a fantastic day walking around the waterfalls. Remember to bring along rubber shoes (must item, walking on rocks), raincoat (can be purchased), dry bag for handphone, camera. Check in to Mt Bromo Terrace chalet style hotel with hot shower. the hotel was clean and helpful hotel staff. As for the milky way I would suggest to add on later depending on the weather on that day. We were kind of disappointed as the sky was cloudy and we all agreed the hike from Mt Ljen can spot more stars than this additional paid milky way tour (SGD50/pax). Bromo is beginner friendly but hiking shoes, trekking pole would be useful to bring along, sun glasses and bandana headgear to block the sand. We were not lucky enough to have a clear view of Mount Bromo sunrise as it was too foggy. Nonetheless, it was still a scenic view at the top view. The pony ride worth paying which cost (SGD 25) through and fro. At 2.30am we arrived and gate open at 3am at Mt Ljen and it was steep hike up on flat ground and till last part of the hike was rocky and manage to reach at ard 4am to capture the phenomenon blue fire. The sulphuric smoke was choking and personally the N95 mask was sufficient for me but depending on individual where most of them wore the gas mask. You can also pay for the "taxi" ride up (2 way cost SGD 80 / 1 way down SGD30). This is a must do tour with awesome and 4D3N is ideally space. Overall our guide cum driver Agung he was very patient and helpful. He gave good advise, recommend best spots for camera shots and driving us on long journey!
