We had a fantastic time exploring Port Vila with JAMES and CIO.... James did a fantastic job with making sure we were full of local knowledge and making sure we were all good and Cio was a very careful caring driver (Vila roads have crazy pot holes) Nothing was ever too much - so relaxed and caring. THANK YOU Zak, Mini, James and Cio! If you have read this to see if Vila Hope will be the best for your tours BOOK with them! You will not be disappointed! PS I asked a million questions and was very annoying (i am a control freak) and they were so understanding and kind repsonding all the time. We had a tour booked first day then the second day we did our own tour!

Great organised tours with lots of information from our guide Minnie! Only a small issue which was were were waiting for over an hour for 2 guys with a booking to show up from the cruise ship - the rest of us in the bus had been present since 10am and ready to go, we wasted time and was one of the last van to leave the wharf for blue lagoon. Barely had much time to swim or have refreshments (fruits) when we got there. Had to quickly go to the next stop at the turtles for lunch and then to Hideaway island (which most beach chairs had already been taken up by towels instead of people - ridiculous!) Other than the timing issue, everyone and everything was lovely. We had alot of fun in this beautiful country.

If you're only going to do 1 trip in Vanuatu make it this one. Zac from Vila Hope tours was our guide, what a great guy. You can tell he loves his job. He's a humble but proud Vanuatu islander who imparted his vast local knowledge, cracked jokes and wanted to ensure everyone had a fun day. Also he had some lovely little touches. Stop off for water in the morning and fresh fruit after the blue lagoon swim. He even stopped on the way home so I could buy a loaf at the local bakery and bought my 2 daughters a hot chocolate each. Tour wise we stopped at the blue lagoon for a swim. Hopped back in with wet swimmers, van seats were leather so Zac had no issues with you getting in with wet togs. Went to hand feed the turtles (they're in a large fenced enclosure) at the beach and had lunch there. We then headed to hideaway Island for a bit of snorkelling. Top day with a top bloke. Highly recommended.
