Our daughter had a transformative adventure with lasting adventures. The first thing she said to me when I picked her up was that she was a different person from her experience. She was a bit nervous at first and the guides with the group support her to face her challenges and empower herself. 6-day, Youth High Country Yosemite Backpacking. I didn't drop my son off nor pick him up, so I wasn't able to engage with the staff in person, but I'm very happy with everything about the experience. From the registration process, and scholarship help, to the careful attention to safety and ensuring best practices, this operation really covers all the bases and helped us make it happen. I felt very confident that my son would be safe, have a transformative experience, and learn so much. They had wonderful wildlife encounters (all safe!), saw epic canyons and waterfalls, felt exhilarated, and didn't have phones, yes! Best of all, my son and his buddy (both 15 yrs) came back so energized, confident, positive, and ready for more adventures.
