If you’re looking to capture the iconic history and landmarks of London, look no further than Yellow Moon. It is impossible to capture almost 2000 years of iconic locations this city has, but this tour is a way to have a crash course, combining history, stories and an appreciation in a fun and engaging experience for people of all ages. The tour checks the boxes for all the top sites you hope to see: Big Ben, London Bridge, Tower of London, Parliament, Buckingham Palace and more, even sharing some information about these well known icons that will leave you further in awe. One of the most unexpected icons, however, was our tour guide, Tom Thornhill. A young, engaging and native Londoner with a knowledge of the history, politics and culture that kept us entertained through his story telling and personality. He kept our daughters, 9 and 11, engaged throughout the 4 hour tour, and made us feel as welcomed to his country as the pride he has in sharing it with us. With our driver, Ann, Tom made sure we were picked up and dropped off quickly and whisked away to different locations, ensuring we got to see this amazing city. While you’re going to do some walking, wear comfy shoes, and make sure you’re ready to move, but also be ready for an experience that is worth every minute shared by Tom and Yellow Moon. We may be visitors, but Tom made us feel like nothing less than fellow mates of his enjoying his amazing city, making it feel like it was ours as well, at least for a day. Whether you’re with friends, family or solo, Yellow Moon makes it possible to see all the icons with this tour, and Tom will do it in a way that makes you feel like you’re an icon as well.
