A great trip around the Atherton Tablelands sampling local produce and cuisine, fabulous scenery. Always good to see different types of agriculture. And very exciting to spot platypuses in the wild. Our driver Dale was super-informative.

We had a fabulous day out with Chris as our guide. His knowledge and genuine interest in the area was evident. He introduced us to new foods and the producers.
Visiting so many places sounded daunting and we feared being in a food coma by the end of the day. This didn’t happen. The tastings were just right. Pancakes and ice cream, coffee, nuts and fruit. Off to spy a platypus or two, lunch of different game inc crocodile and kangaroo. More was to come with fruit wine tasting, than on to cheese, chocolate, gin and whisky. Can thoroughly recommend. Best part of the day was Chris, his commentary and such friendly nature.
