Come and try the best thing to do in Costa Rica. Learn to surf in paradise! In this four-hour surf adventure you will experience amazing surf, enchanting locations, adventurous jungle trails(without carring the surf boards), breathtaking nature and exhilarating wildlife. Safety is our primary focus so we take surf to Playa Grande, a beach that it's located thirty minutes hike from Montezuma and is between two protected areas and wildlife refuges. With a long and big sandbar bottom, this is the perfect place to learn your first steps on surfing in a gentle and safe way. All surf equipment is included, and on the beach. The surf class is 2 hours and we do a break to recharge and get water & fruits (included in the price)

An amazing experience with only my second time on a surf board. Safe, friendly and experienced. I will be coming back for more lessons in the future! Philpe was so patient and kind. Thank you again! Never to be forgotten!

We loved the surf lesson at Nicoya SurfSchool. The teacher was really competent and took his time for everyone. Beside that we laughed a lot, the teacher has a good sense of humor. Really recommend from 2 blonde austrian girls!

We took a group lesson with Guillermo. All of us were beginners and they made us feel super safe and it was a blast! The walk to the beach was beautiful and through a national park. Guillermo’s teaching was clear and entertaining and we all felt comfortable once we got in the water. Guillermo’s beach introduction went over both safety and basic technique and we all felt ready to get in by the end of it. The location was beautiful and full of wildlife which added to the experience and it was such a great introduction to surfing! Would recommend to anyone staying in Montezuma and looking to surf. pura vida! ????
