    You will cruise through the national park beneath the cliffs, with the view of the highest cliff Klobučar. Around 11.15 we will enter the middle channel where lunch on board is served. After that cruise continues to church Our Lady of Tarac and next to the Tureta fortress from 16th century.

    Our Lady of Tarac on the island of Kornat is a one-nave late Romanesque church built on an early Christian basilica site, most probably from that older church's remains. Once a year, on the first Sunday in July, masses are held here. Then hundreds of boat anchors in the bay for blessing, which, in addition to religious significance, also is a tourist attraction. Once upon a time, the feast was only agricultural, and only the field was blessed. As the farmers gradually turned to the sea and fishing, the blessing spread to the sea and ships.

Great boat trip with friendly staff, Ivan was very informative. Lunch on the boat was great and we saw some dolphins. Originally we booked through GetYourGuide but they gave us the wrong meeting point location so missed out on the first trip, but Destina Boat Excursions transferred us to another better excursion free of charge and couldn’t have been any more helpful. Recommend booking direct with them.

The whole day was so enjoyable. The boat is well organised. Staff are very attentive and make sure that everyone is well looked àfter. Lots of food and really good service. A special thank you to Ivan who made our day very special. We were blessed to see beautiful dolphins on our journey.
