Your general admission ticket gives you complete access to tour all ships and exhibits for one low ticket price. The fleet ranges from tall ship sailing vessels to steam ferry boats to the USS Dolphin submarine. Come and discover 500 years of seafaring history as you step on board and back in time!

    The Maritime Museum of San Diego includes a collection of historic ships and fascinating exhibits including sail, steam, and submarines. The iconic and majestic Star of India is docked in downtown San Diego on the beautiful waterfront and is the main attraction at the museum. The museum is kid friendly and encourages hands on experiences for families. The fun does not stop dockside! General admission includes access to all vessels and exhibits! The museum also contains a world renowned research library as well as a retail shop with lots of souvenirs, historic and academic books or memorabilia for sale. The Maritime Museum of San Diego offers something for everyone!

Conveniently located on the waterfront near the cruise terminal this Maritime Museum includes almost a dozen different sea going vessels including - the Star of India, the Californian, the San Salvador, a US submarine and one from Russia. There's a small gift shop in the entry area and a food trolley on the outside where you purchase tickets in a kiosk. In addition to the educational exhibits throughout, you can see and learn about taking care of a ship as workers are usually working on some aspect of maintenance. For a fun and educational tour, do go to the Martime Museum of San Diego.

The Maritime Museum in San Diego at the Embarcadero has a lot to offer - the Star of India, the Californian, the San Salvador as well as a US submarine and one from Russia - all from eras of our past. Take the full tour and add an excursion on the swift boat on the bay. Great place to see the views of the bay too.

This is a great maritime museum conviently located at Waterfront Park, and just a few blocks from the cruise ship terminal, and the USS Midway Museum. It is also very close to the Hop-On-Hop-Off stop at the USS Midway Museum. They have a great collection of ships from a Soviet Submarine, British Frigate, the Steam Yacht Medea, the Star of India which is the worlds oldest active sailing ship built in 1863. Just a great maritime adventure. If you love ships you could spend several days here, or if you live in the area return time and time again.
