Join our Evening Snowmobile Safari in the Arctic Circle forests and learn to drive a snowmobile through the snowy landscapes of Lapland accompanied by an experienced instructor. This 1-hour full driving excursion departs from Santa Claus Village and takes you on the best routes of the Arctic Circle forests. You will drive through snow-covered forests and swamps while admiring the breathtaking landscapes that Lapland has to offer. If you're lucky and the sky is clear, you might even be able to catch a glimpse of the Aurora Borealis - Northern Lights - illuminating your path. This activity is suitable for families and beginners, and everyone can enjoy it seated on a sled behind the guide's snowmobile. Please note that adults require a valid driving license to drive a snowmobile.

  • 2 adults share 1 snowmobile, single driving is available as supplement for adult.
  • Children 0-14 years old are seated in a sledge behind the guide’s snowmobile. We recommend one of the parents to sit with a small child in the sledge for the child’s safety.
  • If a child over 140 cm wishes to sit in a snowmobile as a passenger, a full adult price will be charged (according to availability).
  • Children under 2 year old are not recommended to join this tour.
  • Please note: in order to drive a snowmobile, a valid drivers license is required.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Really enjoyed the experience but instruction and explanation from staff was poor. Not impressed with the guy who issued a telling off over confusion about who was on a snow mobile and who wasn't. Didn't appreciate the way he spoke to me and several others. Apart from that experience was good.

Felt comfortable and right at home. Instructors were helpful with finding us clothing & showing us how to ride! Loved It!

Our guide Alex was great. Tour was magical and great fun for young kids and big kids. We never saw the northern lights due to cloud cover but nevertheless it was still amazing.
This tour in Finland is organized by Arctic Circle Snowmobile Park
