The tour will start in Borghese Gallery, where we will visit the old house of Cardinal Scipione Borghese, transformed into a splendid art museum with all the most important sculptures by Bernini. Then, we will continue to admire Villa Borghese, which is a landscape garden in Rome, containing a number of buildings, museums (Galleria Borghese) and attractions. It is the third-largest public park in Rome (80 hectares or 197.7 acres) after the ones of the Villa Doria Pamphili and Villa Ada. The gardens were developed for the Villa Borghese Pinciana ("Borghese villa on the Pincian Hill"), built by the architect Flaminio Ponzio, developing sketches by Scipione Borghese, who used it as a Suburban villa, a party villa, at the edge of Rome, and to house his art collection. The gardens as they are now were remade in the late 18th century. Be ready to get some fresh air and let your guide tell you everything you need to know about Villa Borghese and the Borghese Gallery.

We had a wonderful experience visiting the Villa Borghese and the Borghese gardens on the morning of October 20, 2022. We had a very good guide: Salvatore!! He was very knowledgeable and it was a pleasure listening to him throughout the visit. We recommend this tour wholeheartedly and Salvatore as a guide.

Amazing tour!!! Marco (the guide) knows a lot about art history so you almost feel you are breathing same air as all artists used to do. Paintings and sculptures are INCREDIBLE, specially Bernini's. An amazing experience worth doing. Guide also talks great spanish so everyone should try it!!

Marco was an incredible tour guide. He was super patient (unfortunately I got lost in the gardens before the tour); once inside he went into great detail about each work we looked at and he waited for me while I took a bunch of photos. The tour was perfectly paced, and I felt like I learned more in addition to my background knowledge (I’m an art history major). Overall a great experience!
