Welcome to the city of Friendly Ghosts! An exclusive experience with your professional ghost and supernatural storyteller It is a perfect way to end your evening while enjoying SB. Our 1 hour walking tours have curated content from first hand accounts. You'll hear stories from as far back as the Old Spanish Days and from the different cultures that have called Santa Barbara home. We do not "summon the dead." Our visiting ghosts do pop by occasionally to surprise you! . This is an "outdoor" walking tour only. This tour is "history heavy." This tour is a traditional history and ghost/legend walking tour. Your guides have diverse backgrounds. Including tour guide experience at on the Queen Mary at Old Mission Santa Barbara. This tour is organic and enchanted and not script based. Each tour is unique and filled with imagination and at times encounters with visiting ghosts. Our ghosts do not come to stay...they return (many times during your tour) for a sentimental holiday.

A great experience! I cannot recommend this experience enough. The stories were so engaging and the ability to fold the city’s history into the ghostly tour was so so cool!! Loved it!

We visited our daughter, who had recently moved to Santa Barbara. She wanted to go on a ghost tour, so we let her choose which one. We couldn't have been more delighted than to do a combo wine tasting and ghost walking tour. Our host, Miss Julie, was superb in her knowledge of the city and in her telling of 'friendly ghost' stories. The details she shares brings the characters to life as we walked through the city, taking in landmarks and sights and sounds where these people once lived and walked these same streets. The tour started with a sit down wine tasting at a very nice location. Miss Julie shared a sweet gift bag with each of us that contained some candy and trinkets, a nice touch and unexpected surprise. We also got to keep a picture of a friendly ghost that she would describe and tell us about in detail. We loved the tour. We felt a connection with Miss Julie and didn't want the evening to end! We highly recommend signing up for one of her tours!

Julie was incredible with the history of Santa Barbara and was so detailed with the ghost’s stories as well. We felt very safe even though we were listening to ghost stories at night! The gift bags were such a nice touch, and we were invited back for a time travel tour that we will definitely be back for. My group of 3 definitely felt like we saw, smelled, or experienced something supernatural along the tour and talked about it for days after the tour. I would highly recommend taking any of Julie’s tours and you will love it!
