shimba hills is a one hour drive , from the famous diani beach, which makes a perfect combination for holiday makers to enjoy the beach and the nature. It is also highly recommended as a sports tourism , with about 1 hour walk to and from the water fall.

    Shimba Hills is a Tropical Rainforest with different types of animals, birds, flora and fauna. For the Nature Lovers it is worth visiting. The highlights of shimba is characterized by a visit to the famous sheldrick falls, where one can take a shower. Lunch is served at the Green Lodge with a scenery next to none.

Wir haben lediglich Affen und Büffel gesehen. Aufgrund der fehlenden Wasserquellen, wandern die Elefanten weg. Erst nach der Regenzeit im März, sollen sie wohl zurückkehren. Wir haben leider auch in der Ferne keine Tiere beobachten können.

Did this trip in 2019, but not given the option to select that date! If you are fit and healthy the trip/walk to the waterfall is wonderful! On this trip we will not be going because my travelling partner has a knee problem! It is not for the faint hearted and certainly stirs the muscles.

We were so happy with the whole trip. Everything was seamless from the booking, actual safari and the guide provide had vast knowledge of the whole environment.
