Although it stands only at 2,392 meters tall, Mount Bromo's beauty lies in its incredible surroundings. For the Tengger people, Mount Bromo has a special significance as it is believed to be the spot where a brave prince sacrificed himself for his family. Once a year, they hold the Kasada festival to honor the gods by offering vegetables, chickens, and money thrown into the volcano's crater.

    If you have signed up for the Milky Way Tour (Additional SG 50/pax) your route follows as: 1. Pick up from your accommodation at 10pm 2. Travel to Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park to see the Milkyway and stay there until sunrise. (*Kindly note that the best time to see the milky way is during the NEW moon period. This add-on is highly reliant on weather conditions, meaning that the opportunity to see the Milky Way is not guaranteed. Additionally, it is non-refundable.)

    1. Travel to Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park with a private 4WD jeep (Estimated Travel Time : 1 hour) 2. Enjoy your light meal at a nearby cafe before hiking Mount Bromo 3. Hike for 10-15 minutes to reach the sunrise viewpoint (*Kindly note that there are 4 different sunrise viewpoints. Our guide will bring you to the less crowded sunrise viewpoint*) 4. Travel to Sea of Sand (Estimated Travel Time : 30 minutes) 5. Cross the Sea of Sand. Great trip! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the sights were spectacular. Our guides Gilang and Andy put in a lot of effort and we really appreciated it! I am also thankful for the company assigning Gilang to us as we requested for an English speaking guide as my wife just recovered from an MCL tear and we needed to communicate well with the guide. Did just the sunrise and Bromo Crater and walked the whole route. Wear good shoes and be prepared for 8-11 deg C weather and that not everyone will speak English in that area.

An amazing experience from the start till the end. Our guide, Gilang, was superb, friendly and knowledgeable! His crews were excellent and experienced. Although we did not get much sleep, the whole experience was definitely worth it. It can get really cold before sunrise so come prepared! Thank you Gilang and team for a wonderful and enjoyable trip. Keep up the good work and we look forward to our next meeting/excursion
