Justin did a great job. We enjoyed the ghost stories. He was also very knowledgeable about the history of Virginia Beach. We would definitely do this again.

As background I don't believe in ghosts but love these tours for the history and story telling. They are usually very well done. So this was the 4th one of these that I've done. New Orleans, Salem, Boston, and now VB. Unfortunately I would say that this was probably the worst of them. The stories were fairly dull and typically didn't pertain to where we were walking. The boardwalk is a straight line so it would make sense to start at one spot and walk along but instead we backtracked a couple of times. It didn't interfere much with the stories because most of them didn't need a specific location but it made it seem disorganized. The tour guide may have been having an off night, so I don't want to fault her too much, but she would frequently go off on tangents in the middle of a story. It made it very hard to follow and took away from the overall experience of the tour. She seemed rushed to get through stories while simultaneously going off on tangents frequently. The delivery was just not well done. Like I said, it could have been an off night for her so I wouldn't put too much fault in her but I'd still say that if you do these tours regularly then this is one you could probably skip.
