On October 19, 2024, my tour group of 19 and I had the pleasure of experiencing Memphis with a personal tour with ‘A Tour of Possibilities’. Our club sponsors a yearly trip with the purpose of embracing the history and culture of the area visited, ensuring that the location also embodies the African American experience. There is always some level of anxiety when relying on the internet to guide your choices. But in this instance, the positive reputation of ‘A Tour of Possibilities’ rang true. Queen, as she is affectionately and appropriately called, is the awe-inspiring proprietor of ‘A Tour of Possibilities’. She is vibrant, energetic, and knowledgeable. Her passion for history and truth resonates through her every spoken word. She is captivating and affectionate and makes everyone feel valued. She welcomes questions and provides resources for continued exploration. We discovered many legends in Memphis, past and present, and Queen walks alongside such legends. I pray for her continued success in business and in life and that our paths may one day cross again.
