Prepare for an experience like no other as you witness the majestic beauty of the humpback whale in Noosa’s aquatic playground during their annual migration. Beginning with a relaxing cruise down the Noosa River, you’ll soak up the sights and views over Noosa from the water before Captain Christian cruises out off Noosa heads in search of the friendly giants. Your nature focused cruise will take you to locations that cannot be fully appreciated from the land, including amazing natural cliff formations, emerald forests, hidden coves a​nd sweeping beaches. On finding the whales, you’ll enjoy an awe inspiring experience that is difficult to put into words - Breaches, tail lobs & pectoral slaps are all part of the spectacular display, and if you come in the later ​half of the season you may even see a mama with her calf!

I live in Noosa and this is my third Ocean Rider experience -each time has been excellent. Nathan makes it fun and we’ve been lucky enough to have up close whale encounters every time. I would thoroughly recommend (and have done MANY times) Nathan and Ocean Rider to visitors and locals alike.

Incredible value for money & so much more fun than we expected, like being on a huge Jet Ski! Had the opportunity to see pods of dolphins & whales jumping out of the water, one of the best experiences we have had & 2 hours was just perfect ????

We were not lucky enough to see whales close up…. But we saw some and dolphins. Exciting ride in the boat and that was fun. A knowledgeable and friendly skipper! A great afternoon out!
