We loved Ngorongoro crater! So many animals! A definite must see. I’d be careful of certain picnic sites since there are many kites around. The company we used was Lion King. They were punctual, reliable and honest upfront communicators. Gilbert our guide was super knowledgeable, courteous and a very careful and considerate driver. He definitely made our trip and I highly recommend him. The places we stayed in were also great.

It went beyond our expectations. It all started with a delay and troubles of Airtanzania, but Lionking assisted us and picked us up at the updated location. Everything was very well organised since the online booking some time before. Wild animals can be seen in all parks we visited. They're all different and due to the location and to our driver we could even rare animals like leopards, cheetahs and a rhino, besides thousands of zebras, wildebeests and many more. Beer, wine, coffee, etc. were always available, we had lunch on the jeep or did a picnic. Breakfast and dinner were always at comfortable lodges or at an excellent camp-site inside Serengeti. Yes, we slept in total safety next to baboons and other wild animals. David, our guide was always friendly, helpful, fun, explained everything clearly, is an excellent driver and even taught us many words in Swahili! We really recommend this safari. I picked this agency because of all the positive reviews I’ve read and I’m glad I did. The booking process was smooth and Rose was so attentive and helpful throughout. We had a lot of delays and missing connections with our flights and arrived 2 days late, but the minute we met our tour guide it was all worth it. We loved the little touch such as our name on wine bottles, activity books for my daughter. Immanuel was our tour guide and he is absolutely amazing! Very professional and patient. He has vast knowledge about the animals and went the extra mile in making sure we saw the big 5 animals. He went looking for Cheetahs when we mentioned we’d really like to see them up close. He was great with my 5 year old daughter too and I couldn’t be grateful enough to have had him as our tour guide.
