    A stone monastery like none other you have ever seen, you absolutely must visit the Basarabovo Monastery, just a few steps past the Bulgarian border. What makes this place so special is a series of stone carved chapels and cells, 30 meters above the ground. And that is not all. The churches’ interiors used to bear painted frescos, but only a few of them have had their murals survive to this day.

I originally booked my Bulgaria tour with another provider on TripAdvisor but they cancelled without warning less than 48 hours before the tour (which was scheduled for our last day in Romania). I reached out to Nicolas and he was willing to squeeze us in on short notice! It was an absolute delight having him as a tour guide. We enjoyed how real he is about the history of a place - adding his own knowledge and lived experience to the official history of the place. We grew up Catholic and he took the time to explain the differences between Catholicism and Orthodox Christianity, while highlighting these key features in the monasteries we toured. For lunch, he took us to a restaurant with food so good we were still full 8 hours later! And, to add to all of this, Nicolas was quick to lend my mother euros to purchase a souvenir when she did not have enough cash on her. This tour was the absolute highlight of our trip and I'd recommend Nicolas Adventure Tours to anyone!

قضينا وقت رائع وممتع مع المرشد السياحي الذي كان في قمة الاحترافية. امين ولا يمانع باي تغير في الجدول. يتماشى مع متطلباتنا بسعة صدر. هذه الزيارة الثانية لنا معه ولن تكون الاخيرة بعون الله. معلوماته السياحية والتاريخية ممتازة. والسيارة كانت مريحة وكان اختياراته للفنادق جيدة جدا. الزيارة الى رومانيا بدون مرشد سياحي قد تكون متعبة ولكن مع هذا شركة نيكولاس كانت الامور ميسرة ومريحة. قمنا بزيارات الى مدينة شيغسوارا وسيبو وفيسكري. قدم لنا خدمات الحصول على الذبايح وقمنا برحلات للشوي في مناطق ذات طبيع خلابة.
