This was a great day.. we had a personal tour by Vlad. He picked us up from our hotel in Bucharest. A very knowledgeable guide who conveyed many and varied facts about Romania.
As this was a personal tour we were able to vary the tour schedule with a number of interesting options suggested by Vrad, such as a visit to a local house.
This was a long day. However, it went very fast because of the number of interesting places we visited. This tour is definitely recommended.

We booked a tour in Hebrew and travelled comfortably in a tourbus with A/C, led by tour guide Alex (great guy with lots of humour). After going with the cabin cable car to the mountain tops near Sinaia (which was extremely foggy that day) and afterwards checking out beautiful Peles castle we went to the so-called Dracula castle in Bran. Instead of going for a tour in the Bran castle itself we decided to explore the local market to shop some local crafts and do a round in a chamber of horrors (way more creepy than the castle). The day finished with our last stop in the amazing city of Brasov (Kronstadt), were we could explore the old city and see witness to it's long history of a place where Germans, Hungarians and Romanians - Christians and Jews - came together. The local synagogue was unfortunately already closed for Shabbat that day, would have been nice to see its interior and design. However, we finished with a nice meal in a local restaurant. What we liked about doing this tour with this agency was the uncomplicated communication with the agency via WhatsApp. They took care of the fact that we are following a vegan diet and helped u with recommendations. One hint: if you go to a Romanian restaurant and say you are vegan it doesn't mean you will be served fully vegan since people often don't understand the concept. Instead tell them that you are fasting and they will serve you only plant-based food.

We had completed a trip the day before to Peles Castle and to Brasov and Bran Castle. In the overview, it mentions nothing about Bran Castle, therefore I thought it would be fine to revisit Sinaia and Brasov. The problem was 4 adults were stuffed into a VW Passat which only seats 3 passengers comfortably. At pick up, the guide/driver mentioned Bran Castle and since we knew the twisting road was to come, we opted to leave after 15 minutes while still in Bucharest. Not a good experience. You should´ve been clearer about the tour.
