The lake is accessible by car via the Transfăgărășan road during the summer, and the rest of the year, access is provided by a cable car from the "Bâlea Cascadă" chalet.

The guide niku was amazing. Highly recommended... learnt alot about romanian history and he drove me where ever I wanted to go. Highly recommend to do a private tour as you can learn alot and go to all the places which you would like to visit. If there was 6 stars I would give six !

A great tour is always welcome when you want to relax and have fun. We know Nicolas from a long time. This time, to see the best road (and animals :)) in the world is clearly Transfagarasan ... slopes, turns and a many bears!! Next to the road. Thank you for a good company!
