Our guide, Alin, was great. He contacted us the day before to confirm logistics; was right on time meeting us at the hotel; the car was comfortable, roomy and clean; Alin was knowledgeable, professional and engaging; and his English was terrific.

Let me share about my amazing my guide - Alin! He let me know ahead of time, the weather and our day's plan and followed up after with restaurant recomendations. He was a great conservationist and I learn so much history about Romania and Bulgaria. The town of Velliko Tarnovo was so cute - Alin picked out a great lunch location with authentic Bulgaria selections. The St. Dimitrii of Basarbovo Monastery was an interesting stop as we were blessed by the last remaining Monk living onsite. When in Bucharest - take a day to head down to Bulgaria!
